Two innocent school pupils were hurt in an unprovoked attack by a man waving around a hammer last month. The first pupil from St Michael’s Catholic High School was waiting to catch the bus home from Garston Park Parade on Wednesday, March 5th, at around 3.45pm when the man approached the boy and began to push and punch him. 
The Woodside stadium in Garston is amongst 600 sporting venues nationwide that have been chosen as training grounds for athletes taking part in preparations for the 2012 Olympic Games. The location of the pre-games training sites were announced last month at a press conference by the Games Organising Committee in London. 
The ongoing relationship between the Peace Hospice and Watford Football Club was recognised at a reception hosted by the hospice last month. The evening was organised by the fundraising team to honour the club for its continuing involvement with the hospice, having been heavily involved since the days of Graham Taylor back in 1995.
